Top notch service. Pick up at hotel was on time and made visiting Arlington a nice experience. My dad and grandfather are buried there so was so nice to have a guide bring us. Would highly recommend.

This was an awesome tour. Alpher, our guide, was full of knowledge and always gave the best advice for the best views. It was a busy weekend and several roads were closed but Alpher did not let it impact our visit. He gave options and adjusted quickly.

Christopher was excellent. He was loaded with pertinent information and did not insert his political view throughout the tour. Stuck to the facts and stayed professional. He knew exact stopping spots and is a Washingtonian.

This Georgetown tour was canceled but DC Metro Food Tours booked us another Georgetown one which turned out to be great. One of the reasons we booked the this tour was that the reviews spoke about this guide Christian and I was really hoping to get him . Well, we did but we wouldn’t have if we didn’t change tours ! Christian was an amazing guide . He Knew so much about the area and was so friendly to chat with that right from the start , we were chatting with him one on one like we were on a private tour . Then when we got to the restaurants , we had the opportunity to meet and chat with the participants and even found out one couple was on the first date ! I think by the end of the tour , we knew they had a connection so hopefully they felt it to and I wish them luck and happiness . I am a very picky eater but I did get to try many of the selections of food . The best was the Italian place for pizza and pasta . All the restaurants were super friendly . Last stop was for Macarons and they are my favorite so I am kinda a snob about them . They were good . Not the best I had but did not stop Me from eating the four I bought after the tour. We even bought doggie ones !We recommend doing a food tour on any trip You plan. It is a great way of trying local food , Learning history and meeting people Even if it’s just for the few hours you are with them .If in DC, I strongly recommend this tour group and ask for a Christian if possible . We loved talking to him so much , I think we spent over an hour chatting with him after the tour was over . Hopefully he enjoyed the chat and wasn’t staying just to be nice lol I can be a chatter ..Do food tours and this one in DC!!

We booked the Christmas Eve Brunch cruise. It was a fun experience. The food was very good and plentiful. The mimosas were unlimited and our glasses were not empty for long before they were refilled. The DJ was entertaining and was able to get the people up and dancing. The cruise itself was comfortable and smooth. There was opportunity to walk around for pictures and watch the landmarks go by.

This dinner cruise was to celebrate two birthdays. The staff is amazing. They were lined up to greet/welcome us onboard. We were given birthday day cards signed by staff. DeWayne, Eric, Toki and Dre treated us like family-best servers and bartenders ever. We danced all evening. The DJ played diverse music to satisfy all. The food was really delicious and the chef was personable. We will take several more cruises and invite more family to join us. Thank you city cruises WDC for a wonderful experience.

Great experience! The crew was great! Our server, Luther, was so pleasant and attentive. The food was amazing. The DJ/tour guide was the best DJ I've experienced in a long time!

Christian was a great guide and was full of information! Had a great time and the food was all delicious! It was a great way to see and taste the DuPont area and would definitely recommend!

Learning about the architecture and history of Dupont Circle was interesting. Also, the tour guide Christian, was very informed about the various embassies in the neighborhood.

Our tour guide was Christian. He was able to provide us architectural and a historical perspective on Dupont Circle. Also, we had a nice variety of foods offered.

Our server, Dwane, was fantastic! Despite having too many tables, he provided great service and was very kind.

I did this tour with my adult son in April, and we both enjoyed it so much that we’ve booked the Georgetown tour for my next DC visit. We visited 3 restaurants plus 1 specialty shop. There were 2 other couples, plus the guide. The guide was great at pacing the tour and telling us about the buildings, people, and history of Dupont Circle. Even though the amounts of food were fairly small at each place, by the time we finished, we were not hungry for dinner. The tour includes water only, but other drinks can be purchased directly from the restaurants. I did ask the guide about the restaurants, and they do change them based on feedback.We first visited Ankara, which is a Turkish restaurant. We started with naan bread and stuffed zucchini (both delicious). They also served lamb burger patties with arugula. I’m not a fan of lamb at all, but these were really good. A couple of people got their specialty drink, which is some kind of ouzo alcoholic drink that turns cloudy when you pour water into it. This was my 2nd favorite place on the tour.Next, we went to an Italian restaurant whose name escapes me. We had some delicious focaccia bread with olive oil and balsamic, along with an amazing butternut squash ravioli. We shared a $50 bottle of rosé with one of the other couples. We all agreed this was the best meal of the tour.Third, we went to a specialty shop that sold cheese, wine, and gifty items. They also had bulk olive oil and balsamic tastings. It’s not a restaurant. We went upstairs and had a mediocre cheese platter, where some of the cheese was wrapped in salami. They gave us a box of crackers that smelled rancid, so the guide had to get another box. The eating area was strange, with the platter on a coffee table, and all of us kind of hunched around it nibbling the cheese and crackers. It was rather warm and stuffy, and they didn’t even serve us water. Fortunately, we had water bottles. I won’t be surprised if they remove this place from the tour. I don’t think any of us cared for it. It would be a fine place to purchase some specialty food items, but it shouldn’t be included on a tour.The last restaurant was Mari Vanna, which was a Russian restaurant. We had dumplings and 7-layer honey cake. The dumplings were the size of tortellini, and they were stuffed with some kind of meat. I didn’t care for the spices in it, but everyone else at the table seemed to like them. They also had fruit-infused vodkas for $30 for 4 shots. You get to choose which flavors you want. We all agreed that most of the flavors weren’t very good. The décor in the restaurant was like visiting your grandma’s house, with strange, flowered, peeling wallpaper on the walls. The clientele was mostly Russian, and the place was pretty busy for late-afternoon on a Sunday.Even though we didn’t care for the specialty shop, I’d still recommend the tour. If they replace the shop on the tour with a different restaurant, then I’d give it 5 stars.
