Top things to do in Washington DC in Summer (Updated September 2026)

Our Driver/Guide MJ was very knowledgeable and had a fun sense of humor. We all had a good time.

This was a fantastic experience from beginning to end. Sonia was our hilarious tour guide whose dry sense of humor kept it from getting too spooky. Saw some haunted spots, felt some spine tingles and saw a few cool historical spots along the way. We stay observational distant as most of these are occupied homes. The walking pace was fairly easy and there’s only a couple hills. A great way to walk around and see some sites, hear some stories of Georgetown’s haunted history.

This is a very lively dynamic tour. You see some beautiful monuments all lit up and under the stars! The driver/ Tour guide was amazing and even sung to us, really well! It was informative and a blast!

It was like hitting the easy button . They got our ticket for us and we had no trouble going up to the top of the monument . The views are incredible .

It was a great tour and our guide knew so much history about the town and also Lincoln. We were able to see the FORD theater and the Peterson house where Lincoln had died and the museum. Highly recommend this tour!

The tour was amazing. James and Chris did a fantastic job. They brought a wealth of information which enhanced the experience. We did the night tour and if we had time, we would have done the day tour as well. Spectacular job James and Chris!

It was a beautiful day of seeing Washington DC. We wonderful and knowledgeable guides that shared history and fun facts.

James and Kris made this 3 hour trip special. A few little info nuggets, like Easter eggs were more than the routine stops and sights. Nighttime in DC is magical and we were blessed with mild clear weather. James is super knowledgeable and had the backstory on many of the monuments. 3 hours was just right, enough time at most stops and we got a good idea of the ones to go back to do deeper dive.

This is a great way to get around the Arlington National Cemetery and learn about the history behind it. Seeing the "changing of the guard " at the tomb of the Unknown Soldier was a very moving experience. And there are so many notable people interned there.

I booked for people with my job, and all five of them stated they enjoyed themselves. I recommend the lunch cruise.

It is impossible to get tickets on .gov so this is a great alternative. This is legitimate but be careful because there are a lot of fraudulent offers out there! Great views of entire area.

We LOVED our tour of Arlington. Very interesting and was intriguing to watch changing of the guard. Would definately recommend

Cute little car with a nice, informative guide. We had a great time! We got out of the car several times for a short walk to see the different monuments and take pictures. We brought my 81 y/o grandma. It was a little hot this time of year for her (early September) Other than that, we enjoyed the experience very much!
