Top things to do in Washington DC in Summer (Updated September 2026)

Both the tour guide Janes and the driver by the name of Kris were phenomenal. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable. He was a historian. The driver took us to a couple of places that most buses don’t go to. They squeezed in a lot of monuments and historical places in a relatively short amount of time. They took us to the best places to get the most ideal pictures . The nighttime tour was magical. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

We enjoyed ourselves. We went on a night tour but wanted to come back during the day to some of the same places.

Tour was as described. There was some confusion about the pickup spot to begin the tour. Just wish the final tour was a little later in the day.

Lots to see in a short time (3hrs). Must see the house, tomb, grounds, & museum. Should also eat at Mt Vernon Inn Restaurant, very good.

Absolutely wonderful tour with Dwayne. He was very knowledgeable, entertaining and pulled the whole experience together perfectly. Doing this tour at night definitely gives a totally different view of the monuments and war memorials. HIGHLY recommend this tour.

It was wonderful!!! So much to see and we had such a wonderful time. We had Rooster as our tour guide on 2 separate legs of our trip. He was always very friendly and upbeat both at the beginning if the day and at the end of the day, extremely knowledgeable, eat to understand and a pleasure to interact with! Would definitely try to go with him again.
